Gorillaz featuring Andre 3000 and James Murphy

"DoYaThing"

For Converse, Gorillaz got together with Andre3000 and James Murphy, late of LCD Soundsystem to create a track. It came out today, and it’s pretty good.

Then Andre comes on and it’s great. Can we have his solo album now? And then a new OutKast album?

Feist

"How Come You Never Go There"

It took me a while to get around to it, but Feist’s most recent album, Metals, is her best yet, and by a pretty wide margin, I think. “How Come You Never Go There” is one of a handful of gems.

Beck

"Peaches & Cream"

Midnite Vultures is mind-bogglingly good. I can’t even explain it.

Apollo Sunshine

"Today Is The Day"

Not enough people know about Apollo Sunshine. Hopefully this helps. Enjoy!

Gnarls Barkley

"She Knows"

Gnarls Barkley sort of disappeared from the public consciousness, due in large part to Danger Mouse working with everyone, as well as that song “Fuck You” that you may have heard. I don’t think their second album, The Odd Couple, got nearly enough play when it came out, which is a real shame, as it features some of Cee-Lo and DM’s best stuff. “She Knows” is exceptional. Enjoy.
